We were neighbors of Mrs. Ng for 11 years in Maplewood, NJ. I will always remember her working in her garden from the early morning, taking breaks from the sun in the shade of her garage. She came knocking on our door with gifts of vegetables from her garden (I remember her long string beans!). She gave lucky money to our 2 little girls and always wore her red button up jacket on Chinese New Year. She was a kind soul and will be missed.
