Obituary of Cynthia Soboti

Cynthia Marriner Soboti, 72 of Millburn passed away at Overlook Hospital on May 1, 2020.

Cynthia was born in Point Pleasant, NJ and has lived in Millburn for the past 45 years. She attending the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park and was co-owner and executive chef at Gaslight Brewery and Restaurant in South Orange.

Mrs. Soboti was a Sergeant in the US Air Force from 1966-69 during the Vietnam War. She was  an artist in Fiber Stained Glass and Porcelain and owned Designs by Cynthia and Cynthia and Co. Ltd.

Cynthia is predeceased by her brother Daniel Marriner, she is survived by her beloved husband Dan Soboti, children Suzette Soboti and her husband Brian Swinson, Antonio and Daniel Soboti Jr.

A Memorial Mass will be held at St. Rose of Lima Church, 50 Short Hills Ave., Short Hills on Saturday July 25th at 12:30PM.
