Obituary of Elmer E. Thomas III

Elmer E Thomas III “Tommy” passed away on October. 6, 2019 in Warren, NJ, at the age of 79. Tommy was born in East Newark NJ and lived in Millburn  Township for most of his life. He was the class secretary for the Millburn High School class of 1958. He was the longest member and honorary deacon of the Wyoming Presbyterian Church in  Millburn. He had a lifetime career with Engelhardt Industries. He was a member of the Millburn Old Guard.

He is predeceased by his parents Elmer and Elisabeth Thomas from Short Hills, NJ. He is survived by his brother, Paul W. Thomas, sister-in-love, Sharon Thomas, his nephew, Russell (Laura)Thomas, his nieces, Libby (Rob) Haynes, Emily (Tom) Derco, and his six great nephews: David, Matthew, Ricky, Michael, Mark, and Jack.

A memorial service will be held at Wyoming Presbyterian Church, Millburn, New Jersey, on Saturday, October 12, 2019 at 11 AM.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be given to the Wyoming Presbyterian Church.
