Obituary of Russell J. Pace Sr.

Russell J. Pace Sr., 67, died suddenly at home in Millburn on Sunday August 4, 2019.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at Our Lady of Sorrows Church, 217 Prospect Street, South Orange on Thur at 11:15AM. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery, N. Arlington.  Visitation will be held at Preston Funeral Home 153 South Orange Ave, South Orange on  Thursday, 9-10:30AM ,  . Russell was a devout Catholic and a very active member with Our Lady of Sorrows. He was a Eucharistic Minister, Lectern, participated in the RCA program and the men’s prayer group. He was always involved in church social functions and volunteer groups. He worked as a carpenter all of his adult life first with his father and then for many years he had his own business that served many families in the Maplewood and Millburn area. He was an avid fisherman and enjoyed playing golf. Russell is survived by his children Russell Jr, Elizabeth and David Pace, his loving life partner Patricia Granna, siblings Louis, Audrey and Richard. Also survived by his granddaughter Ariel.
