Susan K. Ziegler, 75, of Maplewood, N.J., entered into eternal rest on Thursday, Feb. 2, 2017. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Memorial Mass at Our Lady of Sorrows Church, 217 Prospect St., South Orange, N.J., on Saturday, Feb. 11, at 2:30 p.m. Arrangements are by The Jacob A. Holle Funeral Home, Maplewood. Born on Feb. 7, 1941, in Jersey City, N.J., Susan was raised in Bergen County and then lived in Clifton, N.J., for many years before moving to Maplewood in 1986. She was a flight attendant for American Airlines. She graduated from the N.Y. School of Interior Design, and went to work for Huffman Koos. Susan was the owner of Susan L. Personnel in Bloomfield, N.J., for many years. She then worked as an administrative assistant at Behavioral Health Network at St. Barnabas Medical Center in Livingston, N.J., from 1990 to 2003. Most recently, she was a legal secretary for her husband, Joel S. Ziegler, attorney-at-law in Maplewood from 2007 to the present. She was predeceased by her son, Joseph Lisbona; her brother, Dennis Bengel, and her parents, Myra and Henry Bengel. She is survived by her beloved husband, Joel S. Ziegler; devoted children, Lisa Denicola, and Frank Lisbona Jr.; loving grandchildren, Joseph Denicola III, Victoria Lisbona, Jordan Westwood, and Juliette Loftus; dear brother, Gary Bengel and his wife, Fran; her dear sister-in-law, Grace Lisbona-Bober; cousin, Veronica Steck; lifetime childhood friends, Pat Mettler and Naomi Barry; her beloved dog, Teddy, and her nieces, nephews, and many wonderful friends.
