I worked with Helen since we both came to NJT in 1983. Despite all of the pressures that were always on her to produce our timetables and other materials, she was always a pleasure to deal with. No matter how much we all had to do (with insufficient time to get it done!), Helen's attitude was always, "We'll get it done...we always do."....and she was right....she always came through for us in Bus Service Planning. Over the past year, with all of the changes that took place, making things harder and harder for Helen, she remained loyal to us and always did anything and everything to get our products out to the public. I will miss her because she was always a very unique person and a pleasure to talk to and work with.

A Life Well-Lived Leaves Behind a Beautiful Bouquet of Memories.
I've only had the pleasure of working with Helen for the last four years but our friendship grew fast. From our conversations through out the day, each day that was work related to our interest outside of work. We both loved talking about our gardens, the theatre, remodeling our homes and of course wine. Her personal and professional touch will always be remembered here in Print Services. My condolences to Brian, family and close friends. I wish you peace.

Dear Brian,
I have found a poem which sums up how I feel.
The title is “I’m Free” and the author is unknown.
Don’t grieve for me, for now I’m free
I’m following the path God has laid, you see.
I took His hand when I heard His call.
I turned my back and left it all.
I could not stay another day,
To laugh, to love, to work or play.
I found the peace at the close of day.
If my parting has left a void,
Then fill it up with remembered joys.
A friendship shared, a laugh, a kiss,
Yes, these things I too will miss.
Be not burdened with times of sorrow.
I wish you the sunshine of tomorrow.
My life’s been full,
I savored much,
Good friends, good times, a loved one’s touch.
Don’t lengthen it now with undue grief.
Lift up your hearts, and peace to thee.
God wanted me now,
He set me free.
Peace to you, my dear friend Helen

Brian,
I worked with Helen for many years at NJT and was shocked and saddened to hear of her sudden loss. May time help your heart heal and may memories keep her forever with us.
"Do not stand at my grave and weep;
I am not there. I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow.
I am the diamond glints on snow.
I am the sunlight on ripened grain.
I am the gentle autumn's rain,
When you awaken in the morning's hush,
I am the swift uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circled flight.
I am the soft stars that shine at night.
Do not stand at my grave and cry;
I am not there. I did not die."

To Brian
My condolence to you and your family. I worked with Helen for 25 years or more. Helen was a kind and giving person, when she went on vacation she always brought something back for everyone. Helen will always have a special place in my heart because of her kindness in words & deeds. I hope these words will bring you comfort. - "Isaiah 25:8 He will actually swallow up death forever, and the Sovereign Lord will certainly wipe the tears from all faces". We look forward to a time when we no longer have to feel the pain of death.

Brian and Hind family,
Words can't express my sorrow at Helen's passing. She was always a ray of sunshine for me here at NJ Transit and I'm sure for you too. Her co-workers had the highest of respect for her both personally and professionally. She will surely be missed. She was a one of the good eggs. Her support during my recent illness will not soon be forgotten. She is obviously one of God's chosen ones. Who are we to question his judgement. Just know she is in good hands. Rest in Peace.

To Brian and Family,
Tuscan School, Maplewood, 1965 is when I first met Helen. We were in fourth grade. From there on out, all thru our school years and into the years of our high school reunions, there was Helen, the most calm, pleasant, and gentle person ever with a wonderful smile and ready laugh. She seemed to have an inner peace that became an energy that was palpable when you were in her presence. We weren't very close friends but every few years when we saw each other, it was so nice to be together. She reminds me of a butterfly-quiet,beautiful,serene. I won't ever forget her. I bid you peace.

Helen's personal and professional touch has graced every NJT Rail schedule, flashcard and poster since before I joined Rail Service Planning in 1992. It's hard to imagine the future without her. My condolences to Brian, Helen's family and friends, and the Print Graphics family who have "graduated" from NJT. Helen, you'll be sorely missed.
