On Thursday, Sept. 3, 2009, Henrietta Stuchly Ciarrocca, 80, died at home in Chester. Born in Granger, Texas, Mrs. Ciarrocca moved with her husband, the late Norman Ciarrocca, to Maplewood, where she would be a longtime resident and active community member. She was a scout leader, and served as president of the Maplewood Senior Club. In 2004, Mrs. Ciarrocca moved to Chester, becoming a member of the Red Hats Society and continuing to enjoy her interests and the company of her family. A loving mother, sister, and grandmother, she is survived by her two daughters and their husbands, Karen and Andrew Dietz and Joan and Timothy McChesney, and three grandchildren, William and Elizabeth Dietz and John Paul McChesney. She is also survived by her brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Michael and Gloria Pescatore, as well as her sister-in-law, Theresa Ciarrocca, and 19 nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at Our Lady of Sorrows Church, 217 Prospect St., South Orange, on Tuesday, Sept. 8, at 10:30 a.m. Entombment is in Hollywood Memorial Park, Union. Visitation will be held at the Jacob A. Holle Funeral Home, 2122 Millburn Ave., Maplewood, on Monday from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. For more information or to send condolences, please visit jacobhollefuneralhome.com.
