Obituary of Madeline Marcketta

Madeline Petti Marcketta, 87, of Millburn died on Sunday, Aug. 23, 2009, at home. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at St. Rose of Lima Church, 50 Short Hills Ave., Short Hills, on Thursday, Aug. 27, at 10 a.m. Interment is at St. Rose of Lima Cemetery, Short Hills. Visitation will be held at the Jacob A. Born in Bayonne, N.J., Mrs. Marcketta lived in Millburn for the past 57 years. A homemaker, she was a member of the Mothers of Twins Club of Essex County, the Telephone Pioneers Club, and the Lifelighters of St. Rose of Lima Church. Mrs. Marcketta was the beloved wife of the late Frank J. Marcketta; devoted mother of Gary Marcketta, Stephen Marcketta, and Patti DeBoer; loving grandmother of Barbara Davis, Philip Marcketta, Jennifer Marcketta, and Matthew and Andrew DeBoer; great-grandmother of Julie and Katelyn Davis, and Thomas Gerard Marcketta, and dear sister of Mary Marshall and Alphonse Petti.
