Obituary of Frank J. Oliva

Frank J. Oliva, 86, of Linden died on Tuesday, July 29, 2008, at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at Our Lady of Sorrows Church, 217 Prospect St., South Orange, on Friday, Aug. 1, at 9:30 a.m. Entombment is at Hollywood Memorial Park, Union. Born in Newark, Mr. Oliva lived in Howell and Maplewood before moving to Linden four years ago. He was a postal letter carrier for the U.S. Post Office in South Orange from 1958 to 1968, and was retired. He was the beloved husband of the late Minnie Oliva, and the devoted father of Frank A. and the late Dennis J. Oliva.
