Obituary of Marion R. Luppy

Mrs. Marion R. Harth Luppy, 87, of Short Hills died on Jan. 11, 2008, in Inglemoor Nursing Home, Livingston. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral from The Jacob A. Holle Funeral Home, 2122 Millburn Ave., Maplewood, on Tuesday, Jan. 15, at 9 a.m., thence to St. Rose of Lima Church, Short Hills, where a Funeral Mass will be offered at 10 a.m. Interment is in George Washington Memorial Park, Paramus. Born in Newark, Mrs. Luppy resided in Short Hills for 62 years. A homemaker, she was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of St. Rose of Lima Church, Short Hills, and a volunteer at St. Barnabas Medical Center, Livingston, and New Eyes For The Needy, Short Hills. Before marriage, Mrs. Luppy worked as an insurance underwriter for Stavitsky and Wallright, Newark. She was the beloved wife of the late Arthur Luppy; devoted mother of Karen Rodgers and Richard Luppy; loving grandmother of Kim, Katharine, Kevin C. and Kristofer Rodgers and Brian Luppy; dear sister of Robert Harth.
