Rosina Carmela Moschella Carchia of Basking Ridge, N.J., formerly of South Orange, N.J., 103, passed away on Wednesday, April 27, 2016, at home in Basking Ridge, where she lived fosr the past 13 years. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at Our Lady Of Sorrows Church, 217 Prospect St., South Orange, on Saturday, April 30, at 10:30 a.m. Entombment will take place in Hollywood Memorial Park, Union, N.J. Visitation will be held at Preston Funeral Home, 153 South Orange Ave., South Orange, on Friday from 4 to 9 p.m. Born in Dover, N.J., Rosina lived in South Orange for 90 years. A homemaker, she was involved with the Catholic Daughters and the Rosary Society of Our Lady of Sorrows Church. She was a South Orange Senior Citizen. Rosina was the beloved wife of the late Edward Carchia; devoted mother of Dolores Guy, Edward Carchia Jr. and his wife, Chancy, and Richard Carchia and his wife, Linda; loving grandmother of Edward Thomas Guy III and his wife, Sherry, Linda Rose Guy McGuirl and her husband, Michael, Edward Carchia III, Michael Carchia, Richard Douglas Carchia, Peter Christian Carchia , and Jessica Grace Carchia; and great-grandmother of Kevin Michael McGuirl, Ryan Michael McGuirl, Melissa Rose McGuirl, Emily Celeste Guy, and Edward Thomas Guy IV; dear sister of the late Eleanor Castiglione, Angelo Moschella, Arthur Moschella, Elvira Meo and Alfred Moschella. In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital , 501 St. Jude Pl., Memphis, Tenn. 38105-1905 would be appreciated.
