Obituary of Jane C Dent

Jane C. Dent, 89, of Maplewood, N.J., died on Wednesday, April 20, 2016, at Overlook Medical Center in Summit, N.J. Born in Newark, N.J., Jane was a resident of Maplewood since 1930. She attended Columbia High School, then worked as an administrative assistant to the president of International Paper Co. in Wayne, N.J., from 1955 to 1984. In her free time, Jane was an avid bird watcher, and active with the South Orange Rescue Squad, as well as the New Jersey Audubon Society, based in Avalon. She was a worldwide traveler, and had visited over 80 countries. She was the beloved sister of Dr. Constance P. Dent, and will be missed by many dear friends and neighbors.
