Obituary of Nicholas Chirick

Nicholas Chirick, 78, of Millburn, N.J., passed away on March 26, 2016, at St. Barnabas Medical Center, Livingston, N.J. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral service at The Jacob A. Holle Funeral Home, 2122 Millburn Ave., Maplewood, N.J., on Thursday, March 31, at 10:30 a.m. Interment is at Hollywood Memorial Park, Union, N.J. Born in Irvona, Pa., Nicholas resided in Millburn for 65 years. A sprinkler fitter since 1962, he was a member of Union Local No. 696 in Millburn, retiring in 2002. Nicholas was a U.S. Army veteran, serving from 1960 to 1966. Nicholas was the beloved brother of Pearl Inch and the late David Cherick, Ann Humphry, Stella Chirick, Caroline Olson, Mary Chirick, and Alexander Cherick. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
