Obituary of John T. Skidmore

John T. Skidmore died Suddenly On September 25, 2013 in Union, NJ. The family will be receiving relatives and friends at The Jacob A. Holle Funeral Home, 2122 Millburn Ave, Maplewood on Sun, Sept 29th from 2:00 – 4:00 PM. A funeral service will be held at 4:00 PM.. Interment Private. John was born in Newark and grew up in Short Hills, he has resided in Roselle Park for the past 30 years. He went to St. Benedicts Prep in Newark then graduated from Purdue University with a B.S. in Statistics. He was Director of Policy Review at Compensation Rating and Inspection Bureau in Newark from 1973 to the present. He was predeceased by his mother Gertrude Auth Skidmore, his father Col. Francis J. Skidmore, his sister Mary Skidmore Bauer and his brother Francis J. Skidmore Jr. He is survived by his loving step mother Patricia Jaekel Skidmore, his sister-in-law Catherine Skidmore, his nephews Christopher and Brian Bauer, F.J. Skidmore III and Patrick Skidmore and his niece Melissa Skidmore Waters, and one great niece and one great nephew. .
