Gladys Zavocki, 91, originaly of South Orange passed away peacefully and among family on December 5, at home in Long Valley, following a long illness.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral service at Preston Funeral Home 153 South Orange Ave, South Orange on Wed, Dec 9th at 11:00 AM. Entombment Hollywood Memorial Park, Union. Visiting Hours Tues 4:00 – 7:00 PM.
Gladys is predeceased by her beloved daughter Robin, her husband Paul, and 10 siblings.
She is survived by one sister, Doris, of Port Monmouth, her granddaughter Wendy and her husband Ken, of Chatham; and granddaughter Cheryl and her husband, Scott of Long Valley. She is also survived by her son, Paul Jr. of Toms River, and his family.
Gladys was gregarious and quick with a joke. She worked at the Robert Treat Hotel in the 1960s and worked at the Hammond Map Company in Maplewood until she was 80. She was an avid seamstress and enjoyed collecting and building miniatures.
