Obituary of Hjordis Ezrow

Hjordis Dhalen Ezrow, a longtime resident of Maplewood, died on Aug. 28, 2009, at the age 70. She was born on Stockholm, Sweden, and raised a family in Maplewood with her husband, Dr. Leonard Ezrow, a pathologist. Mrs. Ezrow was the loving mother of Jonathan, Kenneth and Lawrence Ezrow and is also survived by six grandchildren. Hjordis had been a stewardess for Pan Am during the 1960's and later worked as a sales associate for Nordstrom in Paramus. In lieu of flowers, donations to the American Cancer Society , 767 Northfield Ave., West Orange, N.J. 07052 would be appreciated. A Memorial service will be held at The Swedish Church of New York, 5 E. 48th St. (between 5th Avenue & Madison Ave) New York, NY 10017 on Friday, September 18th at 2:00 PM.
