Obituary of Rudy J. Franz

Rudy J. Franz, 73, of Maplewood died June 16, 2009 in Clara Maass Medical Center, Belleville. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral service at The Jacob A. Holle Funeral Home, 2122 Millburn Ave., Maplewood, on Sunday, June 21, at 5 p.m. Interment is private. He was a glass factory plant assembler for SGA Scientific Co., Newark, from 1960 until retiring in 1980. Mr. Franz was a member of the Rainbow Seniors of St. Joseph's in Maplewood, the German Club in Clark, the German-American National Congress and the Maplewood Seniors Groups 1 and 3. He was the beloved son of the late Kurt E. and Marie Amend Franz; dear cousin of Anita Driesel; uncle of Renee Driesel; also survived by many friends.
