Obituary of Emelia F. Misikonis

Emelia F. Lasauskas Misikonis, 88, of Maplewood died Thursday, May 21, 2009 at home. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at St. Joseph's Church, 767 Prospect St., Maplewood, on Tuesday, May 26, at 10 a.m. Interment will be in Hollywood Memorial Park, Union. Visitation will be held at The Jacob A. Holle Funeral Home, 2122 Millburn Ave., Maplewood, on Monday from 4 to 7 p.m. only. Berfore retiring, she was a commercial auto rater for Chubb and Son, Warren, from 1973 to 1987, when she retired. She was a parishioner of St. Joseph's Church, Maplewood, a Eucha-ristic minister and a member of its Rainbow Seniors and Rosary Society. She was a regent at Catholic Daughters Court Patricia No. 1254, Maplewood, and a member of Maplewood Seniors No. 2 and of St. Jude's/St. Joseph's Shrine, Stirling. Mrs. Misikonis was the beloved wife of the late Stephen W. Misikonis; devoted mother of Michael P. and the late Stephen W. Misikonis, Jr.; dear sister of Peter Lasauskas.
