Obituary of Dorothy G. Wolf

Mrs. Dorothy G. Burkitt Wolf, 97, of Millburn died on Wednesday, March 18, 2009 at her daughter's home in Berkeley Heights. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral service at the Jacob A. Holle Funeral Home, 2122 Millburn Ave., Maplewood on Saturday, March 21, at 9:30 a.m. Entombment will follow in Hollywood Memorial Park, Union. She was the owner of the Millburn Knit Shop for many yeras before retiring. Before that, she worked as a cashier/hostess at Saks Fifth Avenue, Millburn, and before that, as a realtor at Grill & Wolf Realty, Short Hills. Mrs. Wolf was the beloved wife of the late Charles R. Wolf; devoted mother of William F. McComas and Gayle Duym; dear sister of Wilfred Burkitt and the late Mildred Wirsching and Robert Burkitt; also survived by nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
