Obituary of Molly Gross

Mary "Molly" Swanson Gross, 96, of Maplewood died on Monday, Aug. 11, 2008, at Care One Assisted Living, Livingston. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral service at The Jacob A. Holle Funeral Home, 2122 Millburn Ave., Maplewood, on Friday, Aug. 15, at 11 a.m. Interment is in Hollywood Memorial Park, Union. Born in Buckie, Scotland, Mrs. Gross resided in Maplewood for the last 60 years. She was a homemaker and the co-owner, along with her late husband, of Gross Maplecrest Bakery in Maplewood from the 1930s to the 1970s. Mrs. Gross was the beloved wife of the late Anthony Gross; devoted mother of Kathy Gross, Donna Apprill, Ena Gross and Beth Alton; loving grandmother of Scott and Rebecca Alton, and dear sister of Robert Swanson.
