Obituary of Barbara T. Horan

Barbara Tibbs Horan died Monday, May 12, 2008. A memorial service will be held at Christ Church, 66 Highland Ave., Short Hills, on Thursday, May 22, 2008, at 11 a.m. Arrangements are by the Jacob A. Holle Funeral Home, Maplewood. For more information or to send condolences, please visit jacobhollefuneralhome.com. Mrs. Horan grew up in Bellport, L.I., and lived both in Short Hills and Bay Head. She attended and graduated from the Miss Porters School, Connecticut, and Finch College, N.Y., N.Y. She was a member of both the Short Hills and Bay Head garden clubs, as well as the Junior League in Short Hills. Mrs. Horan was also associated with the Navy League of Women. She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Frederick G. Horan Sr.; her son, Frederick G. Jr., and her three grandchildren, Callie, Charlie and Patrick.
