Robert H. Waeschle Retired printing press manager, Marine Corps veteran, 83 Robert H. Waeschle, 83, of Maplewood, N.J., died May 21, 2015, in Father Hudson House, Elizabeth, N.J. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at St. Joseph's Church, 767 Prospect St., Maplewood, on Wednesday, May 27, at 10 a.m. Interment is private. Visitation will be held at the Preston Funeral Home, 153 South Orange Ave., South Orange, N.J., on Tuesday, May 26, from 5 to 9 p.m. Born in Newark, N.J., Mr. Waeschle was a lifelong resident of the South Orange and Maplewood area. He was a U.S. Marine Corps veteran who served in the Korean War. Mr. Waeschle was the manager of the printing press for Washington Press in Florham Park, N.J., where he worked from 1976 until retiring in 2011. Previously, he worked at Kenney Press in Newark, starting in 1959. Mr. Waeschle was the beloved husband of Elizabeth Clark Waeschle; devoted father of Jacqueline Evans, Peter, Donna Duallo, Carol Bell, Thomas, Mark, Elizabeth Vetter, Craig, David, Eric, Brian, Jeffrey, Sharon Hilbert, Kevin and Amanda Waeschle; dear brother of Mary Jo and Donald Waeschle and the late Suzanne Vallano; he is also survived by 24 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
