Obituary of Daniel J. Sansone

Daniel J. Sansone, 69, of Maplewood died on Wednesday, Dec. 5, 2007, in St. Barnabas Medical Center, Livingston. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at St. Josephs Church, 767 Prospect St., Maplewood, on Monday at 10 a.m. Interment is in Hollywood Memorial Park, Union. Visitation will be held at the Jacob A. Mr. Sansone was born in Orange and was a lifelong resident of Maplewood. He was a letter carrier at the U.S. Post Office in Maplewood from 1955 to 1992, when he retired. He was a crossing guard in the Township of South Orange since 2002 and a member of the Elks Lodge in South Orange. Mr. Sansone was the beloved husband of Margaret Harling Sansone; devoted father of Michael Sansone and his wife, Augoustina, Maryann Brunini and her husband, Bruno, Donna Giordano and her husband Gregg, Debra Santora and her husband, Richard, and the late Daniel J. Sansone Jr.; loving grandfather of Jessica, Nicholas, Amanda, Danielle, Brittany, Maria, Courtney, Gina, Gianna, Gabrielle, Halee and the late Griffin; dear brother of Concetta Rokita, Marie Neander, Kathryn Vollmuth and the late Alfred Sansone; also survived by many nieces and nephews.
