Mrs. Pauline Marie Schultz (nee Berger), 81, of Maplewood passed away peacefully on Monday, Nov. 12, 2007, with her family by her side. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at Our Lady of Sorrows Church, 217 Prospect Street, South Orange, on Friday at 9:30 a.m. Interment will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Hanover. Visitation will be held at Preston Funeral Home, 153 South Orange Ave., South Orange, on Thursday from 4 to 8 p.m. For more information or to send condolences, please visit prestonfuneralhome.net. Born in Irvington, Mrs. Schultz worked at New Jersey Bell in Newark for over 30 years. Pauline had a special talent for creating beautiful oil paintings. She treasured being with her family and her dear friends, the Polcans. She was the beloved wife of the late Vincent G. Schultz, who passed away in 2004. Left to cherish her memory are her five children, Paula Kotz (Tom) of Asheville, N.C., Joan Mooney of Atlanta, Ga., Susan Brecka (Kurt) of Livingston, Vincent P. of Maplewood, and Katherine Gesior (Jerry) of Tinton Falls; sister-in-law, Arlene Farley (Peter) of Neptune; and nine grandchildren, Tommy, Karen, Michael, Kevin, Brendan, Kristina, Danielle, Daniel and Courtney. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Michael J. fox Foundation for Parkinsons Research, ATTN: Tribute Gifts, Church Street Station, P.O. Box 780, New York, N.Y. 10008-0780 and would be appreciated.
