Obituary of Eileen A. O'Brien

Eileen A. O'Brien, 82, of Newark, N.J., passed away peacefully at Stratford Manor, West Orange, N.J., on Nov. 21, 2016. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral from Preston Funeral Home, 153 South Orange Ave., South Orange, N.J., on Wednesday, Nov. 23 at 9:30 a.m., thence to Our Lady Of Sorrows Church, 217 Prospect St., South Orange where a Funeral Mass will be offered at 10:30 a.m. Interment is in Gate Of Heaven Cemetery, East Hanover, N.J. O Brien Sr. Eileen received her undergraduate degree at Kean University and two master's degrees in administration and supervision and reading from Seton Hall University. She worked for over 40 years for Edison Board of Education as an elementary school teacher and reading specialist. Eileen was the dear sister of the late Rev. John T. O'Brien and Lawrence A. O'Brien Jr. She is survived by her good friends.
