Obituary of Frederick J. Davids

Frederick J. Davids, Computer program supervisor, active member of St. Joseph's Church, of East Orange, N.J., passed away on Saturday, March 26, 2016, at St. Michael's Medical Center in Newark, N.J. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at St. Joseph's Church, 110 Telford St., East Orange, on Wednesday, March 30, at 10 a.m. Entombment will take place in Hollywood Cemetery, Union, N.J. Visitation will be held at Preston Funeral Home, 153 South Orange Ave., South Orange, N.J., on Tuesday from 4 to 8 p.m. Born in Muddis, India, Frederick received an associate's degree from Indian Arts College. He lived in East Orange for 41 years, and was employed by Mutual Benefit Life Insurance, Newark, as a computer program supervisor for 18 years before retiring. Frederick was an active member at St. Joseph's Church in East Orange, a past member of the Anglo-Indian Association, as well as a past member of the Holy Name Society at St. Joseph's Church. He was the beloved husband of Patricia Carlier Davids; devoted father of Howard Davids and Kingsley Davids and his wife, Vilma; dear brother of Eric Davids; loving grandfather of Jessica, Kristin, and Gabrielle Davids, and great grandfather of Kaidin.
