Obituary of Marie Paulson Stuppi

Marie L. Paulson Stuppi, 84, of Maplewood died on Friday, Dec. 26, 2008, in her daughter's home in Maplewood. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at St. Joseph's Church, 767 Prospect St., Maplewood, on Monday, Dec. 29, at 12 noon. Interment is in Graceland Memorial Park, Kenilworth. Visitation will be held at The Jacob A. Holle Funeral Home, 2122 Millburn Ave., Maplewood, on Sunday from 2 to 5 p.m. only. She received her bachelor of arts in education and her master's degree in special education, both from Kean College, Union. She worked for many years for the Irvington Board of Education and retired as an assistant principal at Madison Avenue Elementary School, Irvington, in 1987. Mrs. Stuppi was the beloved wife of the late John A. Stuppi; devoted mother of Jonna Glanzman of Maplewood, Beth Gogerty of Howell, Jean Fay of Maplewood and the late Joseph Stuppi; mother-in-law of Jan Stuppi; dear sister of Janet Trammell; also survived by nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
