Margaret E. Taylor Weigly, 86, of Maplewood died on Wednesday, Nov. 19, 2008 in Sunrise Assisted Living, Randolph. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral service at The Jacob A. Holle Funeral Home, 2122 Millburn Ave., Maplewood, on Saturday, Nov. 22, at 10 a.m. Interment is in Fairview Cemetery, Westfield. Born in Sault St. Marie, Ontario, Canada, Mrs. Weigly lived in Maplewood for 60 years. She was a receptionist for Dr. Abraham Zheutlin in South Orange from 1971 until retiring in 1986. She had also worked for Ciba-Geigy in Summit as a payroll bookkeeper in the late 1950's and early 1960's. Mrs. Weigly was a past president of Hilton United Methodist Church Women's Guild and a past treasurer of Hilton United Methodist Church, Maplewood. She was the beloved wife of the late Peter J. Weigly; devoted mother of Peter J. Weigly Jr. of Newton and Edith C. Mahoney of Plymouth, Mass.; dear sister of Nora Booth and the late Jack Taylor, Dorothy Barker, Gladys Wright and Horace Taylor; loving grandmother of Bryan and his wife, Chun Yen, Andrew and Michael Weigly, and Elizabeth, Catherine, Victoria and Benjamin Mahoney, and great-grandmother of Novena Jane Weigly. In lieu of flowers, donations to the American Heart Association, 1 Union St., Suite 301, Robbinsville, N.J. 08691 would be appreciated.
