Obituary of Arlene F. Borges

Arlene Fowler Borges, 81, of Millburn, N.J., passed away on Saturday, Sept. 19, 2015, at her home. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral service at the Jacob A. Holle Funeral Home, 2122 Millburn Ave., Maplewood, N.J., on Monday, Sept. 28, at 11 a.m. Interment will be at the Hollywood Memorial Park of Union, N.J. Arlene was born in Newark, N.J., and later resided in Millburn for over 40 years. She graduated from Seton Hall University with B.S. in nursing. Arlene was a school nurse for the Westfield Board of Education from the 1980s through the 1990s, retiring in 2000. She was also a member of the Covenant Presbyterian Church of Short Hills, N.J. She was the beloved wife of the late Francis "Bud" A. Borges; devoted mother of John M. Borges; dear sister of William Fowler and his wife, Patricia, and loving grandmother of Dustin, Hunter, and Riley Borges.
