Obituary of Marie J. Bate

Marie J. Bate (nee DeLauro), 92 died at home in Millburn, NJ on Tuesday, Jan 7, 2014. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at St. Rose of Lima Church, 50 Short Hills Ave., Short Hills on Saturday January 11th at 11:15 AM. Interment private. Visitation will be held at The Jacob A. Holle Funeral Home 2122 Millburn Ave.; Maplewood on Friday, 6:00 - 8:00PM. She worked at the Depository Trust Co., NY, NY as a Clerk in the Audit Department from 1970-1987. She also custom designed and made wedding gowns. Mrs. Bate volunteered at St. Vincents's Hospital, Staten Island. She was the beloved wife of the late Nicholas Bate, devoted mother of Salvatore Bate, loving grandmother of Brendan and Daniel Bate dear sister of Louise Fasano, Margaret Finn, Anna Massaro, Rose Licari, and Bro. Eugene DeLauro.
