Miss. Rose Bernice Bartels, 81, of Maplewood died at Morristown Memorial Hospital on Friday, Aug 26, 2011. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral from The Jacob A. Holle Funeral Home 2122 Millburn Ave, Maplewood on Thur, Sept 1st at 9:00 thence to Our Lady of Sorrows Church, 217 Prospect St., South Orange, where a Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 AM. She received her undergradate degree from Seton Hall University and her Masters in Education from Rutger University in 1967. She was a Elementary School Teacher at Tuscan School in Maplewood for many years. She was the beloved sister Jane Bartels and the late Richard Bartels, Catherine Sedorowitz, Harold Bartels, Sr. Catherine deRicci C.S.C, Joan Delay, Rev. James Bartels and Paul Bartels. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews
