You have my deepest sympathy for your loss. Although I did not know "Boots" personally, I was told of his geneosity by my parents as he came to the aid of my brother Harry Heide who was in need of a blood transfusion in 1952. Harry had a bad injury while playing for MHS football and Boots was there for him when a call went out for blood. May God bless his soul.

I have many fond memories of Boots driving our clan to St.Rose school. Boots had patience - we were usually running late! And going to Boots and Rose's on Christmas day - there were many goodies to enjoy and family members to visit. Now,many of them are reunited in heaven. My condolences to Rose, Rita and all.
