Obituary of Claire Sheridan Lawrence

Mrs. Claire Sheridan Lawrence, 85, of Jupiter, Fla., passed away Friday, Jan. 2, 2009, in Jupiter, Fla. A graveside service will be held at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, 225 Ridgedale Ave., East Hanover, on Thursday, Jan. 8, at 10:30 a.m. Arrangements are by Preston Funeral Home, South Orange. Born in New Jersey, Mrs. Lawrence had been a resident of Florida for 25 years and was formerly of Oceanport and Maplewood. She was the beloved wife of the late Francis E. Lawrence; devoted mother of Francis E. Jr. of Highland, N.J.; John R. of Columbus, Ga.; Richard R. of West Palm Beach, Fla.; Deborah A. of Jupiter and the late Michael J. Lawrence; dear sister of William, Richard and Joseph Sheridan and Mary Lois Hagedorn; also survived by two grandchildren and one great-grandson.
