Obituary of Mary A. Piro

Mrs. Mary Magliaro Piro, 88, a lifelong Maplewood resident, died Friday, Oct. 31, 2008 , in Overlook Hospital, Summit. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at St. Joseph's Church, 767 Prospect St., Maplewood, on Monday, Nov. 3, at 10 a.m. Entombment is in Hollywood Memorial Park, Union. Mrs. Piro was a volunteer for New Eyes for the Needy and was vice president of St. Joseph's Rainbow Senior Club. She was the beloved wife of the late Patrick Piro; devoted mother of Nancy Torre and her husband, Vincent and the late Thomas Piro; loving grandmother of Linda McKeon and her husband, Sean; Christine McKeon and her husband, Bill and Thomas Piro Jr.; dear sister of Thomas Magliaro, Jean Dolce, Tootsie Calisanti, Cecelia Durning and Florence Kearney, and is also survived by four great-grandchildren.
