Donald "Don" Raymond Reeves, 69, formerly of San Antonio, Texas, died on Wednesday, Aug. 6, 2008, in Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York City after a courageous battle with leukemia. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at St. Rose of Lima Church, 50 Short Hills Ave., Short Hills, on Monday, Aug. 11, at 10 a.m. Interment is private. Visitation will be held at The Jacob A. Holle Funeral Home, 2122 Millburn Ave., Maplewood, on Sunday from 4 to 6 p.m. For more information or to send condolences, please visit jacobhollefuneralhome.com. Born in St. Louis, Mo., Don attended St. Louis University High School and Washington University, where he earned a B.A. and M.B.A. He was a consulting partner for Ernst and Young in San Antonio, Texas, for 25 years. Following his retirement, he pursued a passion for education, teaching in M.B.A. programs at the University of Texas, Austin, and the University of Alabama, Birmingham. Don is survived by his three children, Rusty Reeves, M.D., Julie Campbell and Danny Reeves; his former wife, Elizabeth Denning Reeves; his sister, Peg Llewellyn; his brother, John Reeves, and many nieces and nephews. His greatest joy late in life was spending time with his nine grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, Don requested that donations be made to St. Louis U. High, Class of 1956, Endowment Scholarship Fund, 4970 Oakland Ave., St. Louis, Mo. 63110.
