Obituary of Mary J. Caggiano

Miss Mary J. Caggiano, 94, of Mountainside died on Wednesday, June 11, 2008, at the Brighton Gardens Retirement Home in Mountainside. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the graveside service on Monday, June 16, at 11:30 a.m. at St. Rose of Lima Cemetery, 50 Short Hills Ave., Short Hills. Arrangements by the Jacob A. Holle Funeral Home, Maplewood. Born in the Bronx, N.Y., Miss Caggiano lived in Union for 44 years and in Millburn for 46 years before moving to Mountainside four years ago. She worked for N.J. Bell as a telephone operator in Newark from 1953 to 1977, when she retired. She was a member of the N.J. Bell Pioneer Club and the Catholic Daughters at the St. Michaels Church in Union. Miss Caggiano was the beloved daughter of the late Philip and Margaret Caggiano and loving sister of the late Salvatore S. Caggiano, Rocco Tony Caggiano and Ann Lombardi. She is survived by many nieces and nephews.
