Obituary of Charles V. Carre

Charles V. Carre, 67, of Newark died on Friday, June 6, 2008, in East Orange General Hospital. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at Our Lady of Sorrows Church, 217 Prospect St., South Orange, on Saturday, June 14, at 9:30 a.m. Interment will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Hillside. Visitation will be held at the Preston Funeral Home, 153 South Orange Ave., South Orange, on Friday from 7 to 9 p.m. only. He was an electrician with Remida Hoists and Crane Repair Inc. for five years before retiring. He also worked as an electrician at Tenney Engineering in Union. Mr. Carre was a member of the Our Lady of Sorrows Church in South Orange. He was the beloved husband of the late Gylda Heurtelou Carre; devoted father of Carline Carre, Gabriel Carre and Nancy CarreLee, and dear brother of Alex Joe Carre, Gabrielle Saint-Preux, Carmella Bernadotte and Max Carre. He is also survived by five grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.
