Obituary of Marjorie Tucker Thonger

Mrs. Marjorie J. Klein (Tucker) Thonger, 82, of Livingston died on Friday, May 23, 2008, in St. Barnabas Medical Center, Livingston. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral service at The Jacob A. Holle Funeral Home, 2122 Millburn Ave., Maplewood, on Wednesday, May 28, at 11 a.m. Interment is in Restland Memorial Park, East Hanover. Born in Newark, Mrs. Thonger lived in Livingston for 18 years, and was formerly of Morris Plains. She received a B.S. from Fairleigh Dickinson, Madison, and graduated with the Class of 1971. She was a certified financial planner with A.G. Edwards, Short Hills, from 1980 to 1986, when she retired. Mrs. Thonger was the beloved wife of Frank Thonger and the late Martin Tucker; devoted mother of Robin Muth, Cathy Knapp and Barbara Bixler; dear sister of Robert C. Klein; also survived by seven grandchildren.
