Obituary of Rose M. Iacona

Mrs. Rose M. G.G. Iacona, 94, of Union died Thursday, May 1, 2008, at home in Union. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at Our Lady of Lourdes Church, 300 Central Ave., Mountainside, on Monday, May 5, at 10 a.m. Entombment will be in Hollywood Memorial Park, Union. Visitation will be held at the Jacob A. Born in Newark, Mrs. Iacona lived in Union for 50 years. She was a seamstress with Fellers Clothing in Newark from 1930 to 1940. Mrs. Iacona was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Church in Mountainside and a past member of the Rosary Society at St. Roccos Church in Newark. She was the beloved wife of the late Fred Iacona; devoted mother of Joanne Turney, Thomas Iacona and the late Salvatore Iacona; loving grandmother of Sharon Donadio Zampella, James Turney and Joseph Iacona and great-grandmother of Nicandro and Aidan Donadio and Thomas Turney.
