Wallace Matthew Conner Jr., 75, of Maplewood died Tuesday, April 1, 2008, at home. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral service at the Jacob Holle Funeral Home, 2122 Millburn Ave., Maplewood, on Tuesday, April 29, at 12 noon. The interment will be in Hollywood Memorial Park, Union. Visiting hours are Tuesday at 11 a.m. until time of service. Born in Newark, Mr. Conner lived in Maplewood for 30 years. He was a financial reviewer in the Prudential Insurance Co. in Newark before retiring in 1994 after 38 years. An Army veteran, Mr. Conner served as a corporal from 1953 to 1955 during the Korean War.
He will be missed by his cousins, Elsie Kopacki and Robert Conner, among other family and friends.
