Obituary of Baerbel Samaniego

Mrs. Baerbel Langmack Samaniego, 64, of Maplewood died on Feb 15, 2008, at home. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral service at The Jacob A. Holle Funeral Home, 2122 Millburn Ave., Maplewood, on Tuesday, Feb. 19, at 11 a.m. Interment is in Hollywood Memorial Park, Union. Born in Bremen, Germany, Mrs. Samaniego lived in Maplewood for 33 years. She had been a cashier at Kings Supermarket in Maplewood since 2000. She had previously worked at A & P in Newark as a cashier from 1978 to 1999. Mrs. Samaniego was vice president of the Newarker Damen & Herren Verein (German Culture Club). She was the beloved wife of the late Pedro Samaniego; devoted mother of Peter Samaniego and his wife, Maria, Robert and Joe Samaniego; loving daughter of Marie Witkowsky; dear grandmother of Jared and Brandon Samaniego, and is also survived by many loving relatives and friends.
