Obituary of F. Scott Clawson

F. Scott Clawson, 63, of South Orange, N.J., passed away on Dec. 14, 2017, at home. The family will be receiving friends at Preston Funeral Home, 153 South Orange Ave., South Orange, on Sunday, Dec 17, from 2 to 5 p.m., followed by a service at 5 p.m. Interment is private. Born in Orange, N.J., Scott lived most of his life in South Orange. He was owner and operator of Scott's Deli in Maplewood, N.J., from 2008 to 2015. Scott was a member of South Orange Elks and South Orange Lion Club. He is survived by his wife, Denise Daly Clawson; stepson, Dan M. Daly and his husband, Frank; grandson, Lukus A. Villecco; brother, Craig Clawson, and sister, Barbara Lathrop. In lieu of flowers, donations to South Orange Rescue Squad, 62 Sloan St., South Orange, N.J. 07079, would be appreciated.
