It is with a bowed head and very heavy heart I submit to God's will in this hour. I humbly send up prayers on behalf of the family and loved ones who remain to be sustained in this hour of bereavement. To Kevin family he was one of the members on the first line I made at New Paltz University! Kevin was a great guy never had any problems with ‘ Special K’ ! What you guys don’t realize how you were like my children at was my job and duty to protect all of you! Kevin was always a nice quiet lil brother around me! I went out today and brought myself a ‘ Bottle of Cream White Concord ‘ ! I don’t drink but I ask them just case have a slip for Passover just in case something happen! Kevin and the rest of those guys were my children and it’s rough when you see a child go before his father! Yes Kevin and the rest of the guys were like my children! I’m not there Kevin because I loss my older brother and two cousin here in Florida! I wish I could see you guys and maybe I will! I thank some of Kevin brothers from others chapter whom I reached out to for him! Thank you guys for the pictures and if any family member come to my area call me you are very welcome to come and rest your head and break bread in my home! 704 Sunway Lane Winter Haven, Florida 33880 may God bless the family ! My heartfelt sincere condolences to the family of Kevin D. Jenkins. I've known Kevin about 50 years going back to when he was my counselor at summer camp to later when he influenced me to attend S.U.N.Y. @ New Paltz. We remained in touch over the years as friends. He was a great human being, always warm and welcoming. He taught me many things along the way in regards to mindset. I will always remember the fun times riding around in the 5 speed Small Toyota he had back in the 80's with the tunes blasting. He always remained the same good person through it all. Gonna miss this good big brother. May God comfort his family at this time.
