Obituary of Madeline Albanesi

Madeline Albanesi, 87, of Mountainside, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 24, 2024 after a long battle with Alzheimer’s disease.

Born and raised in New York, NY, Mrs. Albanesi moved to Queens where she raised her two daughters.

She is survived by her loving daughters, Madeline Tugentman(Steve) and Elizabeth Salituri; her cherished grandchildren Michelle (Dan) Salerno, Allison(Nicholas) Lorras, Gianna Salituri and Bianca Salituri, her dear sister, Rose Cicchetti(Frank); her beloved brother, James Collins(Connie) and her nieces and nephews.

Madeline was a fiercely independent woman who enjoyed clothes shopping and decorating her home. Her love for her family was never failing.

Visitation will take place on Sunday, December 29, 2024, from 2:00 to 4:30 PM at The Jacob A. Holle Funeral Home, 2122 Millburn Avenue, Maplewood. A prayer service will follow at 4:30 PM.

A graveside service will be held at 1:00 PM on Monday, December 30, 2024, at Calvary Cemetery in Woodside, NY.

Madeline will be remembered for her kindness, dedication to family, and sassy spirit.
