DeJohn --- Clorinda Santorelli DeJohn of Manasquan, formerly of Union for 45 years, passed away on November 28, 2017. Clorinda was owner/operator of Clara Fashions in Vailsburg, NJ, a women's garment manufacturer. She and her husband, Rocco J. DeJohn Sr., started the company in the early 1970s, which she continued to run after his passing through the mid-1980s. After the closing of the business, she continued working as a seamstress in various men’s clothing retailers in the area. She also worked in her later years in the cafeteria at Kawameeh Middle School in Union, NJ, until she retired at the age of 78. She loved family gatherings. Any chance to spend time with her family was most important to her, and she will always be remembered as the true heart of the family that brought everyone together. Beloved wife of the late Rocco J. DeJohn Sr. Devoted mother of Rocco J. DeJohn Jr. and his wife Angela, Michelle Schneider and her husband Steven, Sheila Biank and her husband Frank, and Donna Driscoll and her husband Bryan. Dear sister of Michelina Santorelli, Virginia Della Fera, Immacolata DiBendetto, Yolanda Raimato and the late Sabina Alfieri. Loving grandmother of Rochelle, Jeffrey, Frank Jr., Michael, Alex, Christopher, David, Cameron, and Bryana. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at St. Joseph’s Church, 767 Prospect St, Maplewood on Monday, December 4th, at 10:30 AM, followed by Entombment at Hollywood Memorial Park, Union. Visitation will be held at The Jacob Holle Funeral Home, 2122 Millburn Ave, Maplewood on Sunday, December 3rd, from 2:00-6:00 PM.
