Obituary of Michael Doyle

Michael Doyle, age 77, of Union, NJ, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 12, 2024 at home.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 17 from 2-6 PM at The Jacob A. Holle Funeral Home, 2122 Millburn Avenue, Maplewood, NJ.

A Funeral service will be held 10:00 am on Monday, November 18 at The Jacob A. Holle Funeral Home. Interment to follow Hollywood Memorial Park in Union.

Born in Newark, NJ, Michael was a longtime resident of Union, where he lived for 52 years. He worked as a Property Manager at Murray Construction in Millburn, NJ, from 2007 until his passing. Prior to his time at Murray Construction, Michael was a valued member of the General Office Interiors team in Union for over 35 years.He was a Union Little League Coach for the Bisons, Reds, and Ten-Year-Old Traveling teams.

Michael was a devoted husband to his beloved wife, Susan of 59 years and a proud father to his four sons, Michael (Jolie) Matthew, Justin (Holly) and Ryan (Marilyn). He cherished his role as a grandfather to seven grandchildren Kayla, Erin, Madelyne, Hailey, Joshua Doyle, Ericka Bonifacio {Jeremiah}, Howell Roche, and great-grandfather to Jakob E. Bonifacio who brought him immense joy. Michael was a wonderful uncle to his nieces and nephews

In addition to his immediate family, Michael is survived by his sisters, Carol Massey (Pat) and Susie Falcetano (Larry), Virginia Bien and his brother, Donald Doyle (Gail). He is predeceased by his brothers, Joseph Doyle, Richard Doyle, James Doyle, Lawrence Doyle, Gene Doyle, Robert Doyle, and sister Patricia Lobur.

He was a kind and loving man, known for his integrity and generosity. Michael will be deeply missed by all who knew him, leaving behind a legacy of hard work, family, and kindness.
