Obituary of Ruth T. Fuest

Miss Ruth T. Fuest, 95, of Maplewood, N.J., passed away on Sept. 25, 2017. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at St. Joseph's Church, 767 Prospect St., Maplewood, on Friday, Oct. 6, at 10 a.m. Interment is in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Hanover, N.J. Visitation will be held at The Jacob A. She retired as a cost analyst for Prudential Insurance Co. in Newark, where she worked from 1941 to 1977. At St. Joseph's Church in Maplewood, she was a member of the Rosary Society, St. Joe's Rainbow Seniors and Court Patricia 1254, and was a past member of the parish council. She was a member of the Maplewood Senior Club 2 and the evening membership department at the Maplewood Women's Club. Ruth was the loving daughter of the late Louis and Anna (Schwarz) Fuest; dear sister of the late Walter, Arthur and Howard Fuest and Evelyn Melkowits. She is survived by her niece and three nephews and many great-nieces and great-nephews.
