I first met Emil Neu as an undergraduate when he served as faculty advisor to the Newman Club. It was the beginning of a decades long friendship. When Hoveida Farvardin convinced me to write and produce two films about the Stevens family and Castle Stevens, Emil contributed to the project and his comments about Admiral Hyman Rickover in the "Tales from Castle Stevens" film are priceless! Today, while searching for something completely different, I came across an 8" x 10" photo of Newman Club officers and members from the 1960 Link yearbook that I'll proudly pass on to his family. Emil is seated to my right. Rest in peace, dear friend!
