Obituary of Francine D. Bortzel

Francine D.   Bortzel, 93 of Maplewood passed away at home on July 8, 2021.

Visitation will be held at St. Joseph’s Church 767 Prospect St., Maplewood on Wednesday, July 14^th from 10:30 – 11:30 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at 11:30 AM. Francine was born in Pottsville, PA and has lived in Maplewood for the past 40 years.

She received her Bachelor and Master’s Degree from Seton Hall University, Francine was a teacher in the Math Department at Seton Hall University.

She is survived by her friend Maria Gushanas, the Emmaus Community of  Christian Hope and her nieces and nephews.
