Obituary of Richard Rusiecki

Richard Michael Rusiecki, beloved brother and resident of Lebanon, NJ passed away on March 1, 2025, after a lengthy battle with cancer.

He was born to Loretta and Vincent Rusiecki in Newark, NJ on February 7, 1961. As a young man he lived in East Orange and Maplewood, NJ, later moving to Lebanon. He graduated from Our Lady of the Valley High School in Orange, NJ and went on to graduate from Montclair State College with a bachelor’s degree in business.

He loved to root for Notre Dame’s basketball team, the New York Rangers, Giants, and especially the New York Yankees.
 

He is survived by his brother, Vincent Rusiecki (Kathy), as well as his nieces: Nicole Caskie (Paul) and Melissa Severns (Chandler), both of North Carolina and Kristin Rusiecki of Pennsylvania, also his grandnephew Cyrus Joseph Severns. He also leaves behind several cousins and many close friends. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

A memorial service will be held on April 12, 2025, from 2 to 4 pm at the Jacob A. Holle Funeral Home 2122 Millburn Ave, Maplewood, NJ  07040. Interment will be at the Hollywood Memorial Park in Union, NJ.
